Slack out

The popular enterprise messaging tool Slack went offline for many users midday Tuesday.

Users of the service got an outage notice around 11:20 AM PT. As of 11:35 AM PT, the Slack status page indicated that there is a connectivity issue for all users.

Luckily, we have Twitter.

Slack stops working.
Slack tells me to restart the app with great-loathing.
Slack hangs trying to start.
Slack tells me something went wrong and they are working on it.
Slack redirects me to their status page.
Slack’s status page says everything is smooth sailing.

Laura sad.

Is @SlackHQ down for anyone else? Nothing reported on https://t.co/bwKhtE7EYr but can’t connect either.

Gotta love when services like Slack go down and their status page says everything is fine. Why even have a status page?
